MPSC to Hold Public Hearing on Proposed Amendments to Michigan Gas Safety Standards

The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today said it will hold a public hearing on the proposed amendments to the Michigan Gas Safety Standards (R 460.20606) at

9 a.m. on Jan. 24, 2006.

 

These proposed amendments make adjustments to existing rules and adopt recent revisions in the federal rules concerning Pipeline Safety Standards. 

 

The public hearing will be legislative in nature, and any person may present data, views, and questions on this issue. 

 

The Commission has selected this case for participation in its electronic filings

program.  For those individuals already participating in the electronic filings program should file as they normally would.  Other comments may be e-mailed to mpscefilecases@michigan.gov.  Written comments should be mailed to the Executive Secretary, Michigan Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 30221, Lansing, MI  48909.  All comments should reference Case No. U-14464 and must be received no later than

5 p.m. on Feb. 14, 2006.  Comments received on this matter will become public information.

 

The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Labor & Economic Growth.
