MPSC to Hold Three Public Hearings on Proposed Stray Voltage Rules

The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today issued an order scheduling three public hearings to receive comments on the proposed stray voltage rules.

 

The State Office of Administrative Hearings and Rules and the Legislative Service Bureau granted informal approvals of the Commission’s proposed rules on stray voltage on June 8 and June 15, respectively.

 

As part of the rulemaking process, the Commission has scheduled the following three legislative-type public hearings:

 

Lansing

10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005

Michigan Public Service Commission

Plainwell

10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005

Plainwell Community Center

798 E. Bridge St.

 

Lapeer

10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 9, 2005

Commission Chambers

255 Clay St.

 

The Commission encourages interested parties to become involved in the proceeding.  Comments may be e-mailed to mpscefilecases@michigan.gov.  Written comments should be mailed to the Executive Secretary, Michigan Public Service Commission,

P.O. Box 30221, Lansing, Michigan  48909.   All comments should reference Case No. U-13934 and must be received no later than Jan. 3, 2006 in order to be considered.  Comments received on this matter will be become public information.
