Cloverland Electric Cooperative

Cloverland's renewable energy program parallels Edison Sault's program in its entirety. As of December 2006, there were 21 Cloverland customers participating in the program.

The Edison Sault powerhouse and the Corps of Engineers hydro plant located on the St. Mary's Rapids generate about 40 percent of Cloverland's electricity using water that passes through the hydroelectric turbines.

Customers desiring additional renewable energy in their supply mix can pay an additional $0.0041 to $0.0122 per kWh based on the quantity of additional renewable energy they choose.
