  Join MPSC-10KWANDUNDER Workgroup

The Commission's February 27, 2007  Order , in Case No. U-15113, directed the Engineering Section of the Commission's Operations and Wholesale Markets Division to establish a workgroup to develop faster and less complex interconnection procedures for 10 kW and under interconnection projects.  The Commission additionally directed the Michigan Renewable Energy Program (MREP) Ratemaking and Net Metering Committee to form a task force to seek a new consensus and report to the Commission within 90 days on a simplified approach for net metering for inverter based systems smaller than 10 kW. It is assumed that the same people will be interested in working on issues assigned to both workgroups and to improve efficiency, one combined workgroup is being formed.
