MPSC Reconciles SEMCO Energy Gas Company's 2005-2006 Gas Cost Recovery Revenues

The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today authorized SEMCO Energy Gas Company to reconcile its gas cost recovery (GCR) revenues for the 12-month period ended March 31, 2006.

The Commission found that the utility over-recovered $262,810 during that time period, including interest, and authorized the company to roll that amount into its 2006-2007 plan year.

SEMCO Energy Gas Company filed an application with the Commission seeking this GCR reconciliation on June 15, 2006.

The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Labor & Economic Growth.
