State Employee Furlough Days
The Michigan Higher Education Student Loan Authority will be closed for business on the following dates:

- Friday, August 7, 2009
- Friday, August 21, 2009
- Friday, September 4, 2009

Due to the ongoing turmoil in the capital markets MHESLA is forced to suspend its participation in the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) beginning April 21, 2008. Further information can be found at the links provided below.
