MGA Training Services

The Michigan Guaranty Agency (MGA) provides the following training services exclusively for Michigan schools.

MGA School Workshops

Twice yearly MGA provides school workshops where financial aid administrators from around the state can come and hear regulatory updates, federal regulatory interpretations, and much more. School workshops are held on both the west and east sides of the state in November and May.

Financial aid administrators should feel free to contact the Michigan Guaranty Agency to request that specific topics be addressed at any of the free school workshops at 1-800-MGA-LOAN, extension 36074.

MGA Info-Teams

At a school's request, the Michigan Guaranty Agency (MGA) will send a small team to an institution to provide training on specific topics of interest. MGA has provided Info Teams to both large and small schools throughout Michigan, helping them to better understand financial aid rules and regulations, sometimes through one-on-one training.
