Services Governed by Michigan Office of Services to the Aging Operating Standards for Service Programs
Service providers maintained in this database comprise entities that are governed by Michigan Office of Services to the Aging Operating Standards for Service Programs for which definitions and minimum standards have been approved and service providers must comply. These service providers are bound by contractual agreement between an Area Agency on Aging. There are other agencies that may or may not be included in this database that serve older adults and their caregivers in your area.
Searching For Services
If you're an older Michigan citizen looking for services available to you in your area, you're in the right place. And if you're a family member or caregiver in search of community resources to help an older relative, neighbor, or friend, then you too will find the information you need.
Preserving dignity and independence in later life--that's what these services are all about. And it is our job at the state level to be an important information link to programs and services available to Michigan's 1.6 million older citizens.
