| Blueprint for Aging--Washtenaw County |
The Michigan Commission on Services to the Aging approved recognition to the Blueprint for Aging for completing an Elder-Friendly Community Assessment for Washtenaw County. Some of the assessment strengths the Community for a Lifetime review panel noted included the following:

A wide range of sources of information were used in the assessment.
- The significant number of concerned citizens who got involved in the project.
- The development of the analysis to the next stage that incorporates long range planning.
- Recognition of the scope of the needs of older adults with depression and mental illness.
- Endorsement by the Human Services Collaborative Body.
