Benefits Enrollment

mshda_dollarsign.gif It's easy to get help! Call the Legal Hotline at 1-800-347-5297 to speak with a benefits counselor. We will screen for a variety of programs that include help with
  • paying medical premiums and prescription drugs
  • utility payment programs
  • home improvement services
  • tax credit assistance
  • food assistance
Times are tough and many older adults and those that care for them in Michigan are struggling to make ends meet. Help is available through our new Benefits Enrollment Center. Adults aged 60 and older and people with disabilities can call the Legal Hotline for Michigan Seniors and get help over the telephone to find out if there are any programs and services that they can apply for that will ease their financial situation.

Once a caller has been screened, we can help with the benefits application process. Individuals, community service groups, attorneys, social workers and others that assist older adults and persons with disabilities can choose to do the screeing themselves by going online to Elder law of Michigan Legal Hotline, or if you have questions on how to use this tool, call us at 1-800-347-5297.
