Growing Corn
There's more than meets the eye in a field of growing corn.

Cornstalk
There's more than meets the eye in a field of growing corn. The overall concept of corn production is that the raw materials (nutrients from the soil and water) and sunlight combine with the type of corn being grown to produce the corn plant itself (dry matter). This means that growth and yield of a corn plant are functions of the plant's potential to grow within the environmental conditions available.
