| State of Michigan Fish Hatcheries are intended to raise and care for fish and, when the fish reach a certain size, transport and place these fish in Michigan's streams, rivers and lakes. People that enjoy fishing later catch many of these fish. All fish contribute to making the streams, rivers and lakes more healthy paces for all types of aquatic life. |
