All searches and notifications on Bid4Michigan are based on National Institute of Government Purchasing (NIGP) codes. It is important that all Professional Services Contractors (PSCs) developing bid documents for the State of Michigan identify the appropriate codes for their projects to maximize participation and all suppliers and construction contractors understand the codes the State will be using to ensure they are aware of all solicitations in their area of expertise. To assist vendors, the State has created a tailored NIGP code listing of the codes we anticipate will be used on the majority of our projects.
