My overall vision for casino gaming and horse racing regulation in Michigan is quite simple. As a former law enforcement officer, I am very honored to head an agency that has the toughest gaming and horse racing regulations in the country. Michigan needs to ensure the integrity of the casino gaming and horse racing. My goal is to provide the finest gaming control and horse racing operation in the US, which will ensure the people of the State of Michigan that the commercial casino and horse racing industries are honest and fair. I am committed to protect the interest of the citizens of the State of Michigan.
Mr. Kalm is appointed to a six-year term.
