Associated Equipment
The following pertains to manufacturers and distributors of Associated Equipment...
The MGCB has identified and categorized specific items of Associated Equipment as defined generally by Rule 432.1101(c). These devices are represented below in the Associated Equipment Reporting Inspection Guidelines Matrix. Certain devices or systems require an MGCB gaming-related Supplier License and MGCB Gaming Laboratory testing prior to shipment to the casino licensee. Other devices require only MGCB Gaming Laboratory approval and submission of a Vendor form. The approval process is set forth in Rule 432.1842. A "Manufacturer Laboratory Submission form" must be filed with the MGCB to initiate the approval process.
Please review this matrix carefully. If licensure is required, complete and submit a gaming-related supplier application to the MGCB's East Lansing office. If MGCB Gaming Laboratory approval is required, complete and submit the "Manufacturer Laboratory Submission form" to the MGCB's Detroit Gaming Laboratory. Additionally, a complete working model or prototype of the device or system must also be submitted for inspection by the MGCB Gaming Laboratory.
