A Board Resolution And Order Approving And Formally Adopting The Administrative Rules Of The Board, R 432.1101 through R 432.11503.

WHEREAS, the Michigan Gaming Control Board ("the Board") on December 2, 1997, developed and approved a comprehensive draft of proposed administrative rules for promulgation under The Michigan Administrative Procedures Act, MCL 24.201 et seq., pursuant to the Board's statutory duty and authority under The Michigan Gaming Control and Revenue Act, as amended, MCL 432.201 et seq.; and,

WHEREAS, the Board's proposed administrative rules were subsequently reviewed, revised and certified by the Legislative Service Bureau as to proper form, classification, arrangement and numbering as part of the rule making process under the Michigan Administrative Procedures Act, MCL 24.201 et seq.; and,

WHEREAS, the Board's proposed administrative rules, as revised by the Legislative Service Bureau and dated March 12, 1998, have been certified by the Legislative Service Bureau as being proper in form, classification, numbering and arrangement; and,

WHEREAS, the Board's proposed administrative rules, as revised by the Legislative Service Bureau and dated March 12,1998, have been reviewed by the Office of Regulatory Reform and certified as being legal and consistent with the Michigan Gaming Control and Revenue Act, as amended, MCL 432.201 et seq.; and,

WHEREAS, the Board has reviewed and considered its proposed administrative rules, as revised by the Legislative Service Bureau and dated March 12, 1998, which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and,

WHEREAS, the Board finds that the attached Proposed Administrative Rules of the Michigan Gaming Control Board, R 432.1101 through R 432.11503, are necessary and appropriate to properly implement, administer and enforce the Michigan Gaming Control and Revenue Act, MCL 432.201 et seq.; NOW THEREFORE,

IT IS RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the attached Proposed Administrative Rules of the Michigan Gaming Control Board, as revised by the Legislative Service Bureau and dated March 12, 1998, R 432.1101 through R432.11503, shall be and are hereby approved and formally adopted by the Michigan Gaming Control Board.
