• Introduction
The Commission was created in September 1994, and concluded its work in April 1995 with the submission of a report to Governor John Engler. What follows are the Executive Summary; reports on the economic impact of the expansion of gaming in Michigan, the social impact, and the impact on laws and regulation; a minority report; the history of the Commission; and Executive Order 1994-24.


• Blue Ribbon Report
The Governor's Blue Ribbon Commission on Michigan Gaming was created by Governor John Engler by executive order on September 8, 1994, to assess the issue of expansion of gaming in the state.
