Michigan Food Policy Council Task Forces

• About the MFPC Task Forces
The Council as directed by the Chair developed task forces to implement the recommendations proposed in its 2006 Report of Recommendations. The Council's four task forces will also explore issues, programs and policies in more depth and report on their findings during Council meetings. Task force participants will consist of Council Members, State Employees, and members of the public. All task force meetings are open to the public.


		MFPC Taskforce A

		Click here for: Task Force A will recommend programs and policies for the Council's review that increase economic activity resulting in new and expanded businesses and jobs across all food-related sectors in the state.


		MFPC Taskforce B

		Click here for: Task Force B will recommend programs and policies for the Council's review that increase access to fresh and healthy foods to all Michigan residents especially school children, low-income and/or at-risk seniors and families, and urban residents.


		MFPC Taskforce C

		Click here for: Task Force C will recommend programs and policies for the Council's review that promote institutional and public purchase and consumption of Michigan grown and processed foods.
