MENTOR's National Mentoring Institute is pleased to announce the launch of a new Online Community for mentors to network with other mentors, obtain support, and access resources to develop stronger, more impactful mentoring relationships. An expansion of
www.mentoring.org
, the "Mentors' Community" is to be used in conjunction with training and support provided to mentors by programs.
Mentors are invited to join the community to share their experiences and ask questions. Discussion topics include starting a new mentoring relationship, dealing with difficult issues, closing a relationship, etc. The community features private messaging, live event chats, and ways to reward good posts and helpful people by marking contributions with positive "kudos."
Mentors can access over 50 linked and downloadable resources to support all phases of the mentoring relationship through

. Topics range from building trust, establishing boundaries, mentoring youth from various backgrounds, resources for military families, activity ideas, and much more.
