Can you use an extra $2000 to support your mentoring program? Mentor Michigan is issuing a recruitment challenge for all mentoring programs that have completed the Wave V Census. The challenge is to find more male mentors to match with boys in Michigan.
The recruitment challenge will run from August 1 - October 31, giving organizations three months to recruit, screen, and train new male mentors. Interested programs must register by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25, by fax or mail.
There are five categories and opportunities to win. Each winner will receive a $2000 prize with the winners announced during Michigan Mentoring Month - January 2009.
