June 3, 2009 -- The Blue Water Bridge (BWB) Plaza Study Team will be suspending office hours at the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) Port Huron Transportation Service Center. The last day team members from the BWB Study will hold office hours is Friday, June 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. On May 12, MDOT received a Record of Decision from the Federal Highway Administration, effectively closing out the environmental clearance phase of the project. MDOT is currently beginning the transition to the design and right of way phases of the project.
All owners and/or tenants who will be directly impacted by the plaza expansion project will be contacted by MDOT Real Estate staff within the next 45 days to discuss appraisal activities for their individual acquisition.
MDOT will start holding office hours again at a later date once design efforts are underway for the corridor and plaza. Additional information regarding the time and location of future office hours will be shared at a later date.
