Boulevard construction to begin Monday, April 30, on US-127 BR in Isabella County

ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE: Mid-August 2007

PROJECT: Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) crews will construct a modified boulevard section on US-127 BR at the south end of Mt. Pleasant, including placement of a storm sewer.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: Intermittent shoulder closures will be in effect for the duration of this project. Traffic will be maintained via flag control. A complete roadway closure will be in effect from Wednesday, May 16, beginning at 7 a.m., until Thursday, May 17, at noon. Traffic will be rerouted with a detour route posted. Portable message signs alerting motorists to the road closure and traffic detours will be posted at least one week in advance.
