Non-motorized path and fishing pier construction to begin Monday, April 23, on M-18 in Beaverton

PROJECT: Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) crews will construct a concrete non-motorized path with a safety fence and timber fishing pier. Work will begin on M-18 from Pearson Street, north to Ross Lake Park in the city of Beaverton. Also included are guardrail upgrades. The cost of this project is approximately $144,000.
TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: Traffic will be maintained via standard road control devices. Shoulder closures will be in effect for the duration of this project. For updates on this project, visit the list of statewide lane closures on the MDOT Web site at www.michigan.gov/laneclosures.
