US-31 BR improvements start Monday in Hart

PROJECT DETAILS: Concrete pavement repairs along US-31 BR from west of US-31 to Johnson Street in downtown Hart, as well as resurfacing on Polk Road from State Street to Oceana Drive. Work also includes intersection reconstruction at Polk Road and State Street, culvert replacements and traffic signal upgrades.

TRAFFIC IMPACT: Lane closures will be used for the majority of the work, with 24-hour flag control required on US-31 BR near US-31.

During intersection reconstruction at Polk Road and State Street, north/south traffic on State Street will be detoured along Griswold Street and Wood Street. East/west traffic on Polk Road will be maintained throughout the project.
