FAQ
  About MDOT
I am interested in working for the Michigan Department of Transportation. How do I apply?

Answer:
As a state agency, the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) works with the state personnel department – the Michigan Department of Civil Service (MDCS) – to interview and fill positions at MDOT. MDCS is responsible for maintaining a qualified workforce pool. As such, they accept applications for positions, schedule exams and compile the employment lists from which state agencies - including MDOT - interview and hire employees. To learn about getting on the appropriate employment lists, which exams are open to whom, and to obtain exam schedules, check out the MDCS home page. The Web page address is: http://www.michigan.gov/mdcs/.
