MDOT to host public meeting to discuss M-52 and US-223 construction in Adrian

WHAT: Information meeting hosted by the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) to discuss upcoming construction on M-52 and US-223 in Adrian. A short presentation will be provided at 5 and 6 p.m., with an opportunity to ask questions of MDOT staff after each presentation.

BACKGROUND: Starting in May, MDOT will reconstruct M-52 (Main Street) from US-223 north to South Street in Adrian. Improvements include new curb and gutter, storm sewer, water main, sanitary sewer, sidewalk upgrades, and traffic signal improvements.

Work also includes resurfacing M-52 from South Street north to Valley Road, as well as sidewalk ramp upgrades and railroad crossing reconstruction at M-52, Winter Street, and Division Street. MDOT also will resurface US-223 from Industrial Drive to west of Ogden Highway.
