The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is piloting two Design/Build/Finance projects where a unique financial component is included in the Design/Build process.
- The M-21 project, near the city of Flint in Genesee County, includes the replacement of the M-21 bridge over I-75, and the demolition of an existing building.
- The I-69 project, in Lapeer and St. Clair Counties, includes the reconstruction of approximately 5.7 miles of I-69 and the ramps at the Capac Road interchange, rehabilitation work on 5 bridges, and work in the Capac Rest Area.
