Dave Bee has served as the Director of the West Michigan Regional Planning Commission (WMRPC) since 2000 and began at the Commission in 1999. He has 14 years of experience working in the field of planning. Dave oversees all aspects of the Planning Commission including the annual MDOT Transportation Program, the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS), land use planning, hazard mitigation planning, and many community development activities. Administrative duties include responding to the needs of the 21-member Board of the WMRPC, preparing the annual budget, identifying appropriate programs, maintaining a qualified staff, keeping member communities informed, and many other activities.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning, Michigan State University, 1990
Master's in Public Administration, Grand Valley State University, December 2004 (anticipated)
