the Project Development Section of the MDOT Real Estate Division provides technical expertise in the area of railroad property sales, permitting, and leasing of state-owned railroad property. It is also responsible for technical expertise in the appraisal, evaluation, leasing, and sales of railroad property and the acquisition of railroad corridors statewide.
