The project list at the end of each region section contains road and bridge rehabilitation and reconstruction projects. The lists are organized first by project type, then by county, then by route.

The following abbreviations and acronyms are used in the project lists:

The DIR column (just after the route name) refers to Governor Granholm's Directive for the Jobs Today initiative. If the project has a "JT" in the column, the project is being funded under the Jobs Today Initiative.

The phases of work being funded for each project have been abbreviated, as explained below:

• EPE - Early Preliminary Engineering (the study and assessment phase of a project)
• PE - Preliminary Engineering (the design phase of a project)
• SUB - A sub-phase of preliminary engineering
• ROW - Right-of-way (the real estate purchase phase of the project)
• CON - Construction (the actual building phase of the project)

Please note the project lists in the region sections include repair and reconstruction projects and show the construction phase only. The capacity improvement project lists in the Expanding the System section show a variety of different phases.
