US-31 Connection to I-94 Study
US-31 Overview
June 15, 2004 - - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and its consultant have made available the Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (FSEIS) for public review. The condensed FSEIS presents the Recommended Alternative for the completion of the US-31 freeway north of Napier Avenue to I-94, which was identified as the Preferred Alternative in the September 2002 Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (DSEIS).

On August 31, 2004, the Federal Highway Administration issued the Record of Decision (ROD), which completed the environmental clearance process and cleared the way for design and real estate acquisiton.
