M-64/M-38/US-45 Ontonagon Access Management Plan
image of M-64 shieldOverview
The M-64/M-38/US-45 Corridor Access Management Action Plan describes zoning, land use, and transportation issues along the state trunklines in the Village of Ontonagon. It proposes both physical improvements and regulatory changes to solve these problems and prevent future ones.
This plan was developed through close cooperation between the Village of Ontonagon, MDOT and the Ontonagon County Road Commission.

What happens next?
The Village of Ontonagon will adopt zoning provisions requiring future development in the Village to use techniques described in this plan. The Village will also review the recommended physical improvements on an ongoing basis, and work with MDOT and other funding agencies to make these recommendations a reality.
