Study Area Length

The study area is approximately 9 miles in length extending from the I-94/M-60 interchange to the I-94 Sargent Road Interchange.

Types of improvements to be considered

This study will examine the existing condition and future needs of the bridge structures, roadway capacity, interchange geometrics, interchange operation, medians, and shoulder widths. The following types of improvements will be considered:

  • Additional travel lanes
  • Modern interchanges
  • Improved medians and shoulders
  • Improved mainline alignment in select locations
