DIFT Study

Detroit Intermodal Freight Terminal (DIFT)- Environmental Impact Study
The purpose of the DIFT project is to support economic competitiveness of southeast Michigan and the state by improving freight transportation opportunities and efficiencies for business and industry. MDOT has been working on the project for several years and is nearing completion of the Environmental Study.
