M-59 Corridor Improvements
How traffic will be affected
Crews have begun working on M-59 between Byron Road and Mallard Pond (just east of Fairlawn Drive), as part of the M-59 widening project.
Start: February 2007     End: Fall 2008
All construction along M-59 is expected to be completed in October of this year.

• What we are doing
MDOT will oversee improvements along the M-59 corridor, including widening and resurfacing the highway, replacing three bridges, and upgrading ramps.
