| M-153 (Ford Road) |
What we are doing: Improvements on M-153 (Ford Road), from Frains Lake Road east to the Washtenaw/Wayne county line.
How traffic is affected:
- All work will take place weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to just before sunset.
- One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times using flag control.
- Intersection closures also will be managed using flag control.
Start: June 2nd 2008 End: Late October 2008

Improvements include:
- Resurfacing 3.5 miles of roadway
- Intersection approach work
- Curb and gutter replacement
- Guardrail Replacement
- Minor drainage work
Please Note:
No work will take place on holiday weekends, during home football games at the University of Michigan, during race weekends at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, or during the Canton Township Liberty Festival weekend.
