| I-94 Corridor - Jackson County |
What we are doing: Reconstuction and resurfacing along I-94 west of Jackson.
How traffic is affected:
- During the first stage of construction, which involves
widening the Sandstone Creek bridge, two lanes of
traffic will be maintained in each direction on I-94. At
Dearing Road, the westbound exit ramp and eastbound
entrance ramp will be closed, with traffic detoured.
- During the second stage of construction, which
involves bridge deck replacement and remaining
ramp work at Dearing Road, one lane will be
maintained on I-94 in each direction. The Dearing
Road westbound exit ramp will be opened during
this stage, but the eastbound entrance ramp will remain closed, with a detour posted.
- For the resurfacing project on I-94, all work will take place at night only to minimize the disruption to motorists. One lane of traffic will be maintained
in each direction when work is taking place.

Improvements include:
- Reconstruct and lengthen the I-94 westbound exit and eastbound entrance ramps at Dearing Road (Exit 133)
- Repairing and widening I-94 where it crossed over Sandstone Creek
- Resurface I-94 from east of Sandstone Road east to West Avenue (M-50)
