PROJECT: The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be replacing failing culvert beneath northbound and southbound I-75 at Hutton's Creek, near Kinross. The project was delayed so as to not interfere with Labor Day holiday travel.
TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: During the project, I-75 will be closed. Northbound traffic will detour around the closure using M-80 and Gaines Highway, while southbound traffic will detour using M-80 and Mackinac Trail.
CUSTOMER BENEFIT: When completed, this work will replace a failing culvert and extend the service life of the road.
