Lane closure on US-2/US-41 Ford River bridge

ESTIMATED STARTING DATE: Monday, Aug. 11, 2008

ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE: Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008

PROJECT: Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) crews will be conducting maintenance work on the US-2/US-41 bridge over the Ford River bridge, including crack sealing and joint repair.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: This work will reduce US-2/US-41 to one lane of alternating traffic over the bridge, maintained via temporary signals. Work will be done Monday through Thursday each week, with work suspended on Friday and the weekend.

CUSTOMER BENEFIT: This project will improve the ride quality on the bridge, and extend the structure's service life.
