MDOT Offers a New Way of Providing Customer Service
BRIGHTON -The Michigan Department of Transportation today announced the new location of its Brighton Transportation Service Center (TSC). The TSC has moved to a new location in order to accommodate a broader range of services. In addition, the staff of Howell Project Office has joined the TSC staff in its new location.
State Transportation Director, James R. DeSana, recently announced the establishment of 17 of the 25 proposed Transportation Service Centers (TSC) throughout the state. The TSCs are a tangible representation of the Department's commitment to making the agency more accessible to the motoring public.
"Our TSCs will prove to be an integral part of our continuing effort to reorganize and streamline our operations," said DeSana. "We have had a great response to the existing TSCs and we are hopeful that support will continue for our newest locations. The community locations will allow us to be closer to our customers while providing faster up-front services to them. This new location should also help to encourage partnering with local agencies."
The Brighton TSC has been serving Livingston and Washtenaw Counties since August 1996. Services provided through the TSC include the scoping and design of projects, construction oversight and coordination of maintenance activities, as well as walk-in services such as providing permits and maps.
The address of the new TSC location is:
