WHAT: The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing $1.3 million during 2010 for bridge replacement work on M-13 over the Pinconning River in Bay County. The public is invited to attend a meeting regarding proposed construction.
During construction, M-13 over the Pinconning River will be closed with traffic detoured. Traffic will be rerouted to Pinconning Road (5th Street), where motorists will head east to Water Street, then take Cody Estey Road north, to resume travel on M-13. An alternate detour route, using North Street, also will be in effect.
This project is expected to begin in January and is anticipated to be completed by April 2010.
