PROJECT: The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing $203,000 to repair the M-20 pump station in Isabella County. This work includes water quality improvements, including storm water outlet repairs, retaining wall construction, and improving access to the site.
Crews will work primarily in the area behind the pump station. The project extends from Watson Road east to the Tuscola and Saginaw Bay (TSB) Railroad crossing in Mt. Pleasant.
TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: For the duration of this project, public access to the pump station will be off-limits. Access to other facilities in the area will be allowed. Westbound M-20 will have intermittent single-lane closures in effect for the duration of this project.
CUSTOMER BENEFIT: This project will promote safety, improve access to this facility, and prevent erosion of the water pump outlet.
