US-23, M-90 and M-24 carpool lot resurfacing scheduled

PROJECT: The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is scheduled to begin resurfacing carpool lots on US-23, M-90 and M-24. Work begins at the US-23 Fenton carpool lot in Genesee County. Crews will proceed to the M-24 Columbia carpool lot in Lapeer County, then move on to resurface the M-90 North Branch carpool lot in Lapeer County. The project wraps up at the M-24 Fostoria carpool lot in Lapeer County.

This project is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). A total of $158,000 in ARRA funds is allocated to resurface the four lots.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: There will be no disruption to traffic. The carpool lots will be closed to the public for the duration of this work, which is scheduled to be completed by early August.
