M-62 in Cass County to be dedicated as Veterans Memorial Highway on May 23

WHAT: Ceremony to dedicate a portion of M-62 in Cass County as Veterans Memorial Highway

WHEN: Friday, May 23
2:30 p.m.

WHERE: Veterans Memorial & Beeson Street Roadside Park, located on the northeast side of M-62, four miles southeast of Dowagiac

BACKGROUND: MDOT, local legislators and area veterans will be dedicating a portion of M-62 from Cassopolis to Dowagiac as Veterans Memorial Highway.

Recently, VFW posts from Cassopolis and Dowagiac banded together to request that this section of M-62 be signed as Veterans Memorial Highway to go along with the Veterans Memorial Park that is located along M-62 within this section of highway.
