November 7, 2007 - - A man from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, won an all-access tour of the International Bridge, including a walk over the arches, in a contest to celebrate the bridge's 45th anniversary.

Don Hatchard's name was randomly picked from among 166 customers who bought limited-edition commemorative I.Q. Prox commuter cards from Oct. 16-31. Two customers won a refund of the Prox Card cost - $5 U.S./$6.25 Canadian - and three customers won an International Bridge Administration (IBA) hat. All winners have been notified.

"We're so pleased to be able to celebrate this milestone with our customers," said Phil Becker, IBA general manager. "We look forward to our 50th anniversary in 2012."

The bridge connecting Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, celebrated 45 years of being open to traffic on Wednesday, Oct. 31.
