The Mackinac Bridge is located on Interstate 75 in northern Michigan at the Straits of Mackinac. The bridge connects Michigan's upper and lower peninsulas. Area attractions include the Fort at Michilimackinac in Mackinaw City, and camping and recreational opportunities on both sides of the bridge.

The Mackinac Bridge Authority opened the eight-acre Bridge View Park on June 12, 2002. The park, on the north side of the bridge, is a spectacular place to view and photograph the "Mighty Mac." photo of Mackinac Bridge Viewing Park
