Q 8. When do I need to send a contract modification to the Construction Contracts Unit?

The easy answer is always, but it is a matter of timing. If your extra needs FHWA, State Administrative Board or State Transportation Commission review, the original contract modification is sent to the Construction Contracts Unit for processing.
Two copies of your contract modification are always sent to the Construction Contracts Unit after the modification has been approved in FieldManager.
