How will I recognize the Freeway Courtesy Patrol?
 
Answer:

Vehicles are marked "MDOT Freeway Courtesy Patrol" and have the "Buckle Up Michigan!" safety slogan on the sides and back of patrol vans. These vans carry the same wording on both sides. Vehicles are now equipped with arrow boards to assist with traffic control in emergency situations.
