FAQ
  Highway Advertising Signs
What do I do with my permit after I am approved?

Answer:

When a permit is issued for a sign, a five digit number is assigned to the location. The permit holder, at their own expense, shall place the permit number on each sign facing. The permit number or permit numbers shall be visible from the highway faced by the sign or sign structure and shall be at least 4 inches in height. If the permit issued is for a religious or service club sign, the numbers shall be at least 2 inches in height.

It is recommended that the permit holder retain the permit issued for their records. This form with its permit and file numbers is your reference to assure the proper matching of each renewal application.
