Are there safety funds available through the State for city or county road safety improvement projects?
 
Answer:

For possible road construction safety improvement funding, contact the Local Agency Programs Unit of the Design Support Area at phone 517-335-2233.

 

For enhanced enforcement, traffic engineering assistance and traffic safety education grants, contact the Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning at phone 517-336-6477.
